Anthony and I talk about manifesting, meditation, visualization, which is very triggering to me from my upbringing. He's benefited from the Landmark Forum, where others call it a cult. As I’ve healed, I’ve learned. Some of these tools are helpful to both of us — especially the mental discipline to stop the false stories that our ego-mind likes to create.

I posted a quote from Kobe Bryant this weekend as I heard about his & his daughter's tragic accident with seven others in a helicopter. I’m not a basketball fan and didn’t even know that Kobe was accused of rape in 2003. A couple of you were upset feeling I was “ok” with his being a “rapist.” I am most certainly NOT. So I talk here about my personal struggle with continuing to carry anger against my abusers.
"What has happened is tragic. I am heartbroken for Kobe’s family. He was a sports hero. He was also a rapist, and all of these truths can exist simultaneously."

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, from his sermon, Antidotes for Fear, stated, “Normal fear protects us; abnormal fear paralyzes us. Normal fear motivates us to improve our individual and collective welfare; abnormal fear constantly poisons and distorts our inner lives. Our problem is not to be rid of fear but rather to harness and master it.” Let’s talk about that!

Thanks, Bryan, for sending us this article. It seems other articles might say that they are banning religious schools. But it seems to be the narrative coming from that part of the world. Should childhood religious indoctrination be regulated like alcohol? What do you think?

We grow up being told what is true and what isn’t. As we grow, we learn to find our way. When we really grow, we learn to smile at fear because the thing behind the fear is more growth.
